pretty girl

I hadn't seen this little peanut since the fall. That was such an easy session. She basically just sat there and smiled on cue. This time was a little bit more work for me (and mom and dad)! But so worth it!

This is one from our series of "where's your..." photos. She knows her body parts!

smiley

This cutie is all smiles. And big bright eyes! She made things pretty easy for me, and that's why this is my favorite age :)

I'm so sorry

I just wanted to apologize for all of the emails I sent out while I was on vacation. For every message I had sitting in my inbox, one email went out in reply. Setting my out of office assistant in Windows was so easy, but when I tried to set it on my Mac, I obviously set it wrong. Apparently "Every message" means every message in my inbox, and not what I thought it meant which was every message that came in. So if you were unlucky enough to get multiples, I'm really sorry from the bottom of my camera.

I'm just trying to get to all of the emails that I received, so if you sent me an order or a new client inquiry, I'll get to a reply as soon as I can!

such a busy fun week

I'm going out of town for about a week on Thursday, so today I played catch-up. I had a really great week with lots of cute kids and wonderful families. This should be enough to satisfy my two blog fans until I return!

First...I was SHOCKED when I saw this little guy get out of the car. I photographed him as a newborn, and he had dark dark hair. I wondered what he would look like since I hadn't seen him in a whole year, and when this little blondie came out, I couldn't believe it! But man is he CUTE!

We put him in this little red wagon as a newborn, so I asked them to bring it back this time. He is almost too big for it now! I was surprised to hear that mom had found it at a yard sale before she ever got pregnant! I'd love to have me one of these!

I think he likes getting swung around! :) And seeing him try to walk after doing this was really just as entertaining!

This bench was not very big, so this gives some idea of how little he still is.

I'm pretty sure he's thinking this photographer is completely nuts. (and he might be right)

Next up was a family that reminded me a lot of the family in which I grew up. Boy...boy...girl...all 4-5 years apart. There is something to be said for spacing your kids apart. They seemed to get along really well, and they were so crazy about their little sister. Even their dog was well-behaved!

Next is a family that just keeps growing! :) This is our third meeting, and I've become so comfortable with them.

And finally, another adorable family that added a new family member about 6 weeks ago. There's another one whose hair color threw me. Mom, dad, and big bro are all brunettes, but he has red hair and really blue eyes! So adorable. And his hair stuck straight up, which I thought was really cute too. I think having a baby who has enough hair to stand up would be a big blessing! My kids were both bald (and one of them still is sort of bald!)
