A Little Traveling

I drove 4 hours round trip to photograph this little guy. It was so worth it for me, hopefully his parents will feel the same way. He was so alert! I don't know if I've ever experienced the amount of awake (yet happy) time we had with him. Usually I prefer them sleeping just because that seems to be the only time they aren't crying! What a good little guy. Mom and dad weren't typical either--aren't you supposed to look tired and groggy when you have a newborn? They look so wonderful!

Ok, maybe a little soothing was needed! :)

Baby Toots

This little girl's baby doll had an interesting name...Baby Toots. She was such a good mommy to her. Until she threw her on the ground. Luckily CPS was not around, and Toots is still with her rightful mother.

lots of fun stuff

I had a great time with these two sessions. The first was a family who just added a new member. We got off to a terrible start; the baby was fussy, and the little boy bonked his head really hard. I was really nervous about how the evening would progress, but luckily kids are unpredictable, and we got some GREAT stuff.

My very favorite of him: I didn't ask him to do this, but when he did it and actually held it long enough for me to snap it, I was really happy!

Loved his vintage tricycle!

I'm indecisive on these two so I'm posting both:

Next up was the family of a woman who has also been very kind to me. I can't tell you how many people she has referred to me, because I've lost count! Aren't they beautiful?

Now for something special! I have so many funny pictures in my vault of people doing funny things, and no one ever gets to see them. So I've decided to have outtakes. If I take a picture that's funny, I promise to share it from now on and label it an outtake. Life is just too funny not to have a sense of humor about it.

First victim: I had her son sit on her lap and her ankle was getting crushed into the bricks. I'd yell too!

Remember this jokester? I told him this is the best shot we got of him all day! :)

I still giggle when I see this one. The little guy had just had a little tantrum, and the dad walked over to me and said, "how's this for a picture?!" I laughed then and still laughing now!

This one is my favorite one of all and needs no explanation!
