This little guy was talking really well for his age, knew lots of songs, and even knew his letter sounds. Good looks and intelligence--a double threat kind of guy. But those girls will have to wait, because right now he's only got eyes for his mommy.

tiny walker

I love to see tiny little babies walking, especially short ones. This little guy is so low to the ground when he is walking. Such a mini little person. And the fact that he's got big puppy dog eyes doesn't hurt.



Tiny babies also have tiny feet, which I adore. I didn't know if he'd want me kissing them, so I took a picture of them instead.



Can you tell he loves his momma? That's her in the foreground telling him she's going to get him.

I'm 4 sessions behind in getting pictures edited; plus I'm going on vacation Friday, so it will be a long while before you can see the rest. But here is something to keep you satisfied until then :) This little guy wasn't feeling very well and missed his nap, but I love his serious look. He has his daddy's baby blues.



And he's standing VERY well for a 7 month old.

Easygoing

Here's Little Mr. Laid Back. He didn't care where we put him or how many times we moved him. He's just an easygoing little guy. We took advantage of it too, and put him in lots of places. Here are just a few of what we got.

Where Do Babies Come From?

I'm going to have a few weeks off coming up, and since a few newborns have made their grand entrance, I've picked up a few more sessions this week. Meet Baylor. She's got two older brothers who just adore her. I'm feeling a little bit of color today, so I've just got one black and white to show. Brittney, now that you are a mother of a sweet baby girl, one day you will have to tell her about the birds and the bees. When she asks where babies come from, just show her this picture and tell her the Coke man brought her.

beautifully unique

I come home from every session and tell my husband, "they had the cutest kids I have EVER seen." But let's be realistic...there is no "cutest". The -est ending would imply that the person holding such a title would be the winner of whichever competition it described. But there is no competiton. The amazing and wonderful thing about children is that they are all beautiful. And they are all unique. They have such bright eyes, such amazing skin, and smiles that can light up a room. It really is amazing that no two children look the same. That's what I look forward to each time I venture out to meet a new family; I know the children will be beautiful. And I know they will be completely different than any children I've photographed before. These two were no exception.





I loved that they had a mirror in this room for her to practice her dancing, and the kids' art is hanging on the wall behind her.

who'd have guessed?

This little guy was under the weather last weekend, so we rescheduled. He was so happy, even if he was fighting off the last of his bout with pneumonia!
