heat? no problem!

This session was probably on the hottest day of the year yet. So I wanted to make sure they were rewarded with some water fun after we were done. Special thanks to my mom and aunt for letting us use their property down south for this one!







Mom wanted to do some black and whites for their new bathroom, so I thought these might do!







And some swinging action in the golden sunset just for fun...

What a difference!

Last time I saw this little guy he was so attached to his mom and so afraid of me it wasn't even funny! Wow, this time it was completely different. I was there for his new baby sister, but he was trying to steal the show :) I love 2nd sessions--and 3rd, 4th, etc; it always seems to be easier on the kids. I'm not a stranger anymore I guess. This family just welcomed their third beautiful child. She is soft, sweet, and loved by her big sister and brother, and of course her mommy and daddy.



This next one just makes me laugh. Look at how he's looking at his big sis. I have an equally cute one of him looking at me, but I just can't pass up this one!











I have to give her mommy a shout out here. She made this hat and blanket after just a few lessons, and I am so impressed!

Small world

...or at least a small state. I feel like this family and I are old friends, and so I went out for pizza with them after our session a few weeks ago. The dad and I were talking and discovered that our fathers went to the same very small grade school and high school, and then went to the same junior college and college. To top it off, they graduated the same year and knew each other. I just think things like that are so neat. So here is the beautiful family, whom you've seen a few times before.

The perfect name

This little girl's name was at the top of my list last time we had a baby. I thought it was a perfect name for a baby until I saw my little boy, but this little girl wears the name very well (see the last picture). It is such a beautiful name for such a beautiful little girl. She brings her mommy and daddy lots of joy :)

Heating up!

We've had some hot ones lately, and this session was about 3 hours south of where I live. So it was even hotter, even at the end of the day, but give me the golden sunset, and I will bear the heat!

A girl I can relate to

I was the youngest of three (with two older brothers) just like this little girl is. I can tell that she will be protected and loved! For now they are enjoying her tiny toes, but it won't be long before she's tagging along, I'm sure.
