break out your christmas pjs!

Kids in Christmas jammies just make me smile. There is just something about those little bare feet sticking out of the bottom of them that make your troubles seem to go away :) This little guy has grown some since I saw him last, but he is long and lean!





He agrees with me about the feet!







I love it when babies make this face as you kiss their cheeks.

She loves her new puppy. This one is especially for her.

We had a perfect day for these, and it was the day after this family returned from Florida. Prior to that it had been cold and rotten, so they got to miss all of that. Little miss is soon to be 4 and is already swimming underwater without wings! She told me all about it while we were walking.



He did not think much of my camera. He liked me a lot, but as soon as I put that big black thing up to my face he was very doubtful! I love this expression.



And who would've guessed that underneath that hat was...absolutely nothing! :)

I'm sure this won't be the first time he'll have to beat the ladies off!

older brotherhood

This little guy was born right around the time that my little guy was born. Only mine is still the baby, and this little guy has lots of responsibility being the older brother. His mommy tells me that he has matured by leaps and bounds since baby sister's arrival. It's amazing how much older the two and three year old's seem once a newborn arrives and they are the big brothers or sisters. Not babies anymore! And I am definitely not ready for that yet :)

a favor for a favor

We're good friends with the parents of this little girl. I don't need to tell you how cute she is, because well...that's obvious. At seven months she has more hair than I've ever had, and she is extremely content. I couldn't wait to get her in front of my camera, and since her mommy did me a big favor, I did her a favor :) She also has two adorable older brothers, but they were busy with other things. Maybe another day!





For this one, I said, "Cate! Smile!" and what she heard was, "Leaf eating contest"









These two outtakes just aren't complete without them both. Here I'm checking my exposure...



And then I told mom to go ahead and take the paci. Does this not just break your heart?!

oh.my.goodness.

I'm not even sure where to start with these. I have way too many that I want to share, and this isn't even breaking the surface. Mom has already seen them, so I'm not spoiling anything, but I also don't want to overwhelm anyone with too many pictures of one family. These girls are gorgeous. I just don't know what else to say about them. This is the second time I've photographed them, and they still take my breath away.

I'm so fickle and can't make up my mind on the processing of these, so I'll do little bit of each. ;)

extremes

The last time this family had me take their pictures it was unbearably hot. This time it was really cold. Maybe someday we'll be able to get it right :) Big brother didn't seem to mind and just wanted to run. Little sister seemed like she would rather be warmed up, but then when we left they had to chase her off of some nearby playground equipment. Everyone has since thawed out though, and probably looking forward to a few previews.







Dad constantly has the kids laughing (and me) with his Halloween sound effects. He does a really good warewolf howl.

The leaves, the weather, and the families have made the past few weeks very busy but very enjoyable for me. I'm trying desperately to get caught up, so here is an adorable family from a few weeks ago.
